builds a framework for performance measurement and analysis that places
equal emphasis on client and vendor. It delivers a custom-tailored
measurement framework, analyzing performance objectively from a neutral
point of view. This quarter-long engagement begins with a review of
contractual terms, existing teams, and any performance monitoring or
measurement in place. Through in-depth interviews with each of the
teams, we determine business drivers, explore trouble areas, and lay
out measurable, objective performance goals for a three month period of
time.
These goals are reviewed
at each team level, and at aggregate levels. Senior managers on both
sides of the engagement are delivered a roll-up of the goals, and a
candid and private discussion of any hot spots. Once ratified, the
goals are socialized with the entire extended team through a
facilitated all-hands session. Using interviews and inspection of work
products, a mid-quarter check-point is performed, and a report is
delivered highlighting any necessary course correction.
At the end of the measurement period, a detailed inspection of performance and work products is performed. A report is delivered privately to both client and vendor senior management, and a joint performance analysis meeting is facilitated and held. To close the assessment period, a second all-hands meeting is facilitated, to communicate the results of the performance assessment with the team.
